Spring Interior Design Trends
1. Spring Color Palettes: Warm Neutrals
A gorgeous design from PURE SALT INTERIORS!
In 2024, a trend that will be dominating the interior design world are warm neutral color palettes. Warm neutrals includes beige, cream, browns, and camel. This is true for paint colors, furniture, as well as home decor.
This trend is not only true for spring time but it will be making an appearance all year long. For more information on the top home decor trends of 2024, you can read my post here!
You can say farewell to crisp white and muted grays. When it comes to spring decor trends, expect to see more soft neutrals throughout fabrics, paint colors, artwork, and furniture.
These soft tones promote comfort, coziness, elegance, and a calm elevated feeling throughout your space.
2. Spring Decor Trends: Earthy Tones
More beautiful spring time inspiration and project from PURE SALT INTERIORS!
In spring 2024, expect to see rich earthy tones. As discussed above, neutral color palettes will be a prominent trend in the interior design world, but so will earthy tones.
Earthy tones bring warmth and comfort into the space. Earth tones can range from beige, brown, greens, blues, honey, black, terracotta, or any soft color that brings the outdoors in.
Shades of blue are dominating the design trends in 2024 so that’s no surprise that it will be a popular spring decor trend as well. Read more about the best shades of blue here!
Incorporating earthy tones into your home isn’t limited to simple color trends. Other ways to adopt this spring decor trend into your home is through natural materials, plants and greenery, and wooden textures. Doing so will add texture and dimension into your space.
3. Spring 2024 Home Decor Trends: Natural Elements
This next piece of inspiration is from the very talented STUDIO MCGEE! I love everything about her designs and work. She is one of my favorites to share inspiration from!
In spring 2024, expect to see an abundance of natural elements throughout interior designs. Adding natural elements into your space helps complete the look.
Natural materials create an inviting home and a more “lived in” appearance. Adding as many natural elements into your space will create a more finished look.
Some natural elements you can add into your home include materials like fresh plants or greenery, wooden textures, copper, brass, coral, shells, antlers, faux fur, or mixed metals.
Adding these natural materials into a space can look like adding some greenery to a ceramic vase. It could look like a marble countertop. Possibly some wicker baskets or rattan barstools. It can include wooden cabinets or beams and english pine furniture. Or decorate your shelving with pieces of coral and throw down a faux fur rug.
There is a wide range of decor possibilities when it comes to adding natural elements throughout your home. But keep in mind, these organic materials can help completely transform a room.
4. Spring Decor Trends: Bringing The Outdoors Inside
Here is another beautiful spring time decor inspiration from STUDIO MCGEE! She nails it every time!
In spring 2024 we’re bringing the outdoors in! This spring, an interior design trend you’ll be seeing often is decorating with nature. We’re bringing nature indoors!
Similar to natural materials, decorating with nature will be a strong decor trend in spring of 2024. In order to achieve this look, bring large lush plants indoors. Use greenery as centerpieces on dining tables, counter tops, and coffee tables.
Large floor plants like olive trees, stems, branches, or wooden logs are other popular ways to bring nature indoors. Garden inspired wallpaper and artwork will also be making an appearance in spring of 2024.

An interior design trend you’ll be seeing everywhere this spring and beyond is curved furniture and arches. This architectural element is nothing new and has been around for years but it will be gaining extreme popularity in 2024.
Arches add charm and frame important spaces. The architectural element evokes character and interest. Arches are so versatile coming in different styles and sizes which makes them adaptable to numerous design styles.
This timeless architectural element can be implemented in a variety of ways from arched doorways, curved countertops, arched mirrors or lamps, or soft rounded furniture.
